Bishop Vann has always been a strong supporter of Catholic Education. We were blessed to have him celebrate our first school Mass with us on September 4, 2015. His presence reminded us of the importance of following in Jesus' footsteps and being our best selves. He reminded students not to "loaf around" and be lazy and instead encouraged them to work hard. We know our teachers and parents appreciated that message.
Bishop Vann also took time to visit some of classrooms, sharing with students his journey to the faith and his devotion to his position as Bishop There were smiles all around when Bishop Vann shared stories of his two dogs and we all felt like we made a connection with him. With the Bishop's personal blessing, we know this will be a special school year.
