TK Through Second Gets Seussy!

Ms. Beirne was in charge of this year's Dr. Seuss Celebration and it was a huge hit with the K-2 crowd. Each grade got to hear a designated story and complete a special craft based on that book.

Our TK students read "Fox in Socks," and made their very own Fox in Socks hand puppets.  Kindergarten read "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish," and participated in a One Fish Two Fish Corn Hole Toss. First grade read "The Cat in the Hat," and used watercolor to colorize their own crazy Thing 1. Second grade read "Horton Hears a Who," and made their very own clover with a secret Whoville world. They also wrote what would happen on their Whoville world.

Thanks to Grandma Diane (Mia Wall's grandma), there was also a festive photo booth filled with Dr. Seuss props. Be sure to check out the board near Fourth Grade to see pictures of this very fun Celebration! Thank you to all the parents who volunteered and helped to make this occasion a successful one. Hats off to Dr. Seuss!
