Back in the spring, the "raise the paddle" item at our annual auction focused on bringing STEM curriculum to St. Hedwig school. Together, we raised more than $20,000 for this important program.
Before school started, teachers attended a Stemfinity STEM workshop as part of their professional development.
On Monday, Oct. 8, it all came together.
Build It Workspace is on campus for the next seven weeks facilitating hands-on learning that will prepare our students for the future by helping them successfully navigate 21st-century academic and employment endeavors.
Through trial and error, STEM activities challenge students to expand their horizons, experiment, problem solve and accept failure as a means to success.
