Second Graders had a special visit from Theresa Murphy, Santa, Wendy, and Baby Nova from Precious Life.

8th Graders recently visited the Sacred Heart of Jesus Retreat Center, and reflected upon their experience.

Thirty pre-qualified SHS eighth graders recently participated in You Be The Chemist Challenge, an interactive academic contest that encourages students to explore chemistry concepts and their real-world applications.

Via handheld devices, the students answered a series of multiple choice chemistry questions and worked their way through more than 4 rounds with eliminations. The two winners, Meghan McGlinchey and Matthew Reinodt, will compete against the top two champions from 20 other schools in the California State Challenge on Sunday, April 29 at the Discovery Cube in Orange County.

On Thursday, March 15, the Kindergarten classes visited Centennial Farm as a culminating activity for their science unit on animals.  The students were able to watch a cow get milked, hold baby chicks, plant radish seeds and see many farm animals.
